Destruction zone near the tip of interfacial crack at a prevailing tensile loading

Abstract
Under the plane strain conditions at the prevailing tensile loading by Wiener-Hopf method the solutions of problems about the calculation of a small-scale destruction zone in the pre-fracture zone part, which is adjacent to the interface crack tip, located on a flat interface of two different materials, taking into account and ignoring the contact of the lips near the tip have been found. The influence of the elastic characteristics of joining materials and loading configurations on the parameters of the destruction zone has been investigated.
