Journal Title: Barometr Regionalny. Analizy i Prognozy - Year 2011, Vol 2011, Issue 1
Abstract
The study includes results of the questionnaire survey carried out in 2010 among 73 representatives of local governments in the Slaskie and Lubelskie voivodship. The survey focused on the assessment of determinants development in public and private partnership. Public-private partnership could be seen not only as a method of financing public infrastructure but also as a tool to increase efficiency of public services. Unfortunately cooperation between public and private sector is not easy and there are many problems. In spite of the fact that public – private partnership is available to all local governments, there are some difference between voivodships in perception and assessment of partnership.
