DETERMINING INFLUENCE OF PISTON-RING-CYLINDER PROFILE ON BLOW-BY

Abstract

This paper presents the modelling of changes of the slot between a cross-section of the piston, the rings and cylinder liners, which affects the intensity of the phenomenon of blow-by into the crankcase piston engine ignition. Changing the slot through which a part of the factor passes is caused by the reciprocal motion of the piston and rings, both against each other as well as against the cylinder strokes.
