Development of intercultural communicative competence in the context of multilingual education

Abstract
This article explores some issues related to the formation of professional intercultural communicative competence in a multilingual and multicultural Europe as well as prospects of collaboration between language and subject teachers taking part in bilingual educational projects. The main focus is on the challenges facing teachers in implementing Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Ukraine. The other aspect explored is the role of teachers of Languages for Specific Purposes in the CLIL pro- grams.
