Development of methods for identification and assay of Himopiron
Journal Title: Фармацевтичний журнал - Year 2014, Vol 6, Issue 6
Abstract
For medicines implementation to medical practice, their quality-control techniques developed are required to produce analytical and regulative documentation in accordance with existing current demands. The aim of the study was the development of methods of identification and quantitative estimation techniques for substances Himopiron. As the object of the investigation chromatographically pure sample of substance. Identification of the examined substance was carried out by physical and chemical (NMR 1Н and IR-spectroscopy) methods which let to get full information on the chemical nature of the substance. For quantitative evaluation of the substance Himopiron, the technique of the acid-based titration of the substance was proposed in the non-water medium. To prevent additional errors, standardization of the solution titrated and quantitative measurement are conducted in the same conditions. Based on the quantitation results obtained, the limits for the main compound's quantity in the substance were defined Himopiron – 99,5–100,5%.
