Diagnostics of diesel injectors using ultrasound: Diesel-ECO
Journal Title: Modern Innovations, Systems and Technologies - Year 2023, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
The article solves the actual problem of diagnosing diesel injectors in order to determine the correct (faulty) operation of these devices using ultrasound. It has been established that a serviceable diesel injector operates at a frequency of 17,000 - 21,000 Hz, and a faulty one - from 4,000 - 12,000 Hz. The most simple, affordable and at the same time effective method for diagnosing mechanical diesel injectors is provided.
