Diagnostics of Motor Oil Quality by Using the Device Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance Phenomenon
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Engineering and Technology - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 4
Abstract
We demonstrate the possibility to examine quality of motor oil by using the method of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for comparing values of refractive indexes inherent to initial and used oil. It was experimentally shown that the SPR method can be applied for examining quality of motor oils for controlling their quality and wear factor of machinery and mechanisms. Keywords: Lubricants; Motor Oil; Quality Control; Surface Plasmon Resonance

Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on the Adsorption behavior of RhodamineB dye using Prosopis Juliflora Bark Carbon.
The adsorption behavior of Rhodamine B dye from aqueous solution was investigated using prosopis juliflora bark carbon. The effects of various experimental factors such as contact time, adsorbent dose, initial dye concen...
A review on GIS based Fuzzy and Boolean logic modelling approach to identify the suitable sites for Artificial Recharge of Groundwater
This paper critically reviewed fuzzy and Boolean logic based studies for identifying sites for groundwater artificial recharge which is very important and necessary to implement with high accuracy and in the possible min...
Application of ionic liquid-based microwave-assisted extraction of anthocynin from lycium ruthenicum
Abstract: The anthocyanin of lycium ruthenicum was extracted using ionic liquid combined with microwave. The effects of ionic liquid species, ionic liquid concentration, microwave power and extraction time on the anthocy...
Existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for singular second-order Dirichlet boundary problems with impulse actions
By mixed monotone method, we establish the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for singular second-order Dirichlet boundary problems with impulse actions. The theorems obtained are very general and complement...
High Molecular Weight Cellulose Ethers Influence on the Rheological Properties of Fresh Mortars
This paper presents an experimental study on the effect of three types of water-soluble high molecular weight cellulose ethers on the rheological properties of cement mortars in fresh state. Vane-cylinder test was used t...
