Didactic strategies for the development of research competencies in university students
Journal Title: Prohominum - Year 2023, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
The transformation of university curricula for the adoption of competency-based models began in South America with the Alfa Tuning Latin America Project in 2007. This has brought a series of important changes in the revision of curricula, where the importance of research as a transversal axis is discussed. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the didactic strategies for the development of research competencies in university students. At the methodological level, a descriptive bibliographicdocumentary research was used. As for the results, it was found that the development of skills, knowledge, attitudes and understanding of the research process requires the transformation of curricula, which should be designed to develop professional competencies, linking the classroom with the environment, teaching with the world of work. To conclude, eight strategies recommended by different authors to strengthen research competencies in university students are described
