DIGITAL COMPETENCES OF EMPLOYEES OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE AND INTEGRATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract
Employees of social assistance and integration institutions, like other professional groups,in their daily professional duties rely on information and communications technology - bothin inter-organizational relations and communicating with the persons under care of these institutions.e level of competence in this area, quality of workplace equipment and training programsthat are in place greatly aect the eectiveness of these institutions. e paper presents resultsof research on these issues in relation to the selected group of employees of social assistance andintegration institutions from the region of Silesia. e results of the analysis can be the basis forcreation of training programs for employees, employers and other entities involved in the trainingprocess.
