Дипломатична діяльність Народної Республіки Болгарії в Україні за матеріалами Центрального державного архіву громадських об’єднань України

Abstract
Розглянуто дипломатичну діяльність Народної Республіки Болгарії в Радянській Україні на основі матеріалів Центрального державного архіву громадських об’єднань України, а саме документів таємної частини загального відділу фонду Центрального Комітету Комуністичної партії України. Документи розкривають особливості дипломатичних відносин СРСР та Болгарії протягом 1944−1989 рр., місце України у їх розвитку. Вагоме значення останнього зумовило відкриття двох Генеральних консульств в Одесі (1965) та Києві (1971), які виконували традиційні для дипломатичних місій функції. Разом з тим зміст їх діяльності свідчить про неоднозначні відносини НРБ та СРСР, попри залежність болгарського керівництва від московського центру та підпорядкованість зовнішньополітичної діяльності партійному керівництву. Особливості в діяльності консульств полягали у домінуванні економічного напрямку в Одесі та політичного у Києві, де, крім того, болгарські дипломати виступали свого роду "довіреними особами" для радянської сторони у відносинах з іншими дипломатичними місіями.
