Diversification of companies in the sphere of providing fire safety services: analysis of preconditions and forecasting of its development

Abstract
This article highlights the specifics of the activities of enterprises in the sphere of fire-prevention services and reflects the prerequisites for the implementation introduction of strategic changes through the diversification of their activities. The objective of this research is to identify the opportunities and analyze the prerequisites for diversifying the enterprises in the field of fire safety, recognize the potential areas for increasing their business activity and forecast their prospects. The survey is based on an interview with potential customers and a group of the fire safety companies, the analysis of public procurement in this field. The results of this research are external and internal prerequisites for diversification, prospective directions for the development of enterprises through diversification based on changes in the value profile of products and requirements of government regulations. The proposed diversification directions can become effective strategies for the development of companies with different financial capabilities. They will allow stabilizing the current state, increasing economic benefits, strengthening or creating competitive advantages. In addition, the identified forms of traditional services provide the ground for shifting the center of market competition from the classical provision of products to the full service companies in a certain area.
