Abstract
This article deals with the features of interaction of penitentiary facilities with state and non-state institutions, in particular, gives the definition of “interaction in the sphere of penal activity”, suggests characteristics of interaction of the bodies and institutions of the State penal service of Ukraine (including penal institutions) with state and non-state institutions, presents a summary of interaction of penitentiary facilities with state bodies, enterprises and institutions, individual citizens.
