Dynamics of biochemical indices in blood during early pregnancy in rabbits under the influence of different forms of stabilized gonadotropic preparations

Abstract

Methodical approaches to creation of new forms of drugs based on stabilized gonadotropins and its activity during prolonged storage were been studied. The influence of injections of stabilized forms of gonadotropin preparations in liposomal forms on the reproductive function of female rabbits during the early stage of pregnancy was determined. The object of the study was human chorionic hormone (hCG) obtained from the urine of pregnant women. The activity of gonadotropin in new forms of drugs stabilized by lysine and sucrose was determined by immuno-chemiluminescent method based on difference between total and free hCG. The effect of stabilizing gonadotropin on reproductive function of female rabbits was determined by the level of estradiol, progesterone and some hematological and biochemical blood parameters in dynamics within two weeks of pregnancy. It was established that the dispersion leads to loss of 10–12 % of the gonadotropin’s activity however, the duration of dispersion did not influence in its activity. Our results showed that with addition of stabilizers and liposomal form of drug has provided the preservation activity of gonadotropin to 90 % for long-term storage at the temperature of 2–4 °С and at 18–20 °C if taken into account the loss of about 10–12 % after dispersion. The activity of lactate dehydrogenase and concentration of progesterone and estradiol in serum were increased after injections of stabilized preparation during the artificial insemination that indicates its effective action.
