Dynamics of Online Campaign Implementation in Regional Head Elections (Case Study of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Semarang)

Abstract
The covid-19 pandemic has caused the implementation of the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Semarang to face a few challenges. All stages must adapt to health protocols. Including the campaign stages which must be online-based. With this new method, many party doubt about the effectiveness. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to examine how the dynamics of the implementation of online campaign stages in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Semarang, as well as to find out what problems still need to be fixed..
