DYNAMICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PERSON’S NATIONAL SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS IN TERMS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT

Abstract
Psychological support is relevant means of the psychological activity. Within the framework of this research it was applied to optimize the processes of young person’s national self-consciousness, national self-reflection, national self-realization and psychological self-regulation. Psychological support of the development of young person’s national self-consciousness includes the following stages: psychological diagnostics, the identification of specific developmental components of national identity and its epicentre, young people’s national self-consciousness, determining the strength and direction of interactions between the national autostereotype and the real and the ideal modalities of the person’s national self-consciousness, justification of the methodology, choice and implementation of methods for psychological support. The results realization of the program of psychological support of the development of young person’s national self-consciousness in the education process of higher education is confirmed of her effectiveness. The program of psychological support of development of young people’s national self-consciousness may be applied by psychologists, lecturers and heads of higher education institutions in teaching process.
