Journal Title: Autobusy. Technika, Eksploatacja, Systemy Transportowe - Year 2016, Vol 202, Issue 12
Abstract
The article discussed issues of vessels’ navigation in restricted areas. Shown a few solutions that aim to increase the safety of navigation through the setting of dynamic under keel clearance. Presented solutions are applied in practice, minimizing the risk of ship’s grounding and increasing the draught of vessels entering the port of applying solution. In addition, discusses the risk assessment model specifying the under keel clearance in real time. The model can assess the level of risk for the ship during the passage of the restricted waters.
