DYSFUNCTIONS OF THE GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT IN YOUNG CHILDREN WHO HAVE SUFFERED PERINATAL DAMAGE TO THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

Abstract

Currently, one of the features of the structure of childhood morbidity is the significant prevalence of chronic somatic and neuropsychiatric diseases [1]. The main causes of pathological abnormalities in children, especially in infancy and early childhood, include violations of the course of the perinatal period [2-4]. 55-98% of infants with perinatal damage to the central nervous system (CNS) have various abnormalities of the gastrointestinaltract (GIT), which are clinically manifested by regurgitation, constipation, and diarrhea [5, 6].
