E- learning Effectiveness in Higher Education

Abstract

Human society past behind profound changes which is not only observed in technology and instruments and environment but also concepts and life principles are gradually changed and life basic concepts from work concept to education concepts are faced with deep changes. Quick and developmental growth of information and communication technology resulted in development in education systems of the world. One of the concepts which are faced with wide development in electronic communication era is the concept of interaction. Interaction in e learning environment is one of the factors which faced education experts with challenges, because the concept of interaction in e learning environment is more complex than traditional education. Therefore, according to 3 basic factors of education fields (staff, students, content), 6 kinds of interaction are defined between these triple education factors. These interactions are between professor – professor , professor – student , professor – content , student – student , student – content , content – content .Therefore , if it is expected that learners should achieve the levels beyond acquire knowledge, it is necessary to involve learners experiences and provide chances of interaction with information and other learning factors such as other learners and teachers.
