Earth’s crust of large deposits of non-ferrous metals in Bulgaria
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2018, Vol 40, Issue 1
Abstract
The proposed publication explores the main results of the study of the Earth’s crust in the largest ore regions in Bulgaria - Panagyurishte and Central Rhodopes. The concept of its continental type has been confirmed, and the more significant accomplishments can be summarized as follows. À number of ruptures of the Moho boundary, characterized by considerable vertical amplitude (from 7-8 to 13-14 km) have been proven, which facilitate and catalyze the endogenous processes, including ore formation one. A large (unique) density of the Earth’s crust layering in depth has been established. Besides the known mantle faults, limiting the main longitudinal tectonic units (the Maritsa fault zone and the Sub-Balkan fault), two more are identified - the South Sredna Gora and the South-Rhodopes ones. From their intersection with the sub-meridional ore concentrating structures (the Panagyurishte and the Central-Rhodopes ones) core-mantle nods are formed and the main ore fields are located in their ranges. As a whole, the Earth’s crust in the studied ore regions is characterized by gradient changes in its depth structure, represented by large fragmentation, high endogenous permeability, intensive magma saturation and significant ore-bearing potential.

Secular variations of the geomagnetic field on litosphere plates of the Earth
The dependence of the value and sign of the geomagnetic secular variations (SV) refined of 3- and 11-year components on the position of observatories at different tectonic plates is investigated. The observatories of the...
Features of the use of an automated seismic acoustic complex by a combined method of detection objects
The article deals with the analysis of existing intelligence and signaling devices (ISD) using principles based on the use of modern seismic acoustic sensors to detect the coordinates of moving and immobile objects. The...
Joint use of inverse gravity problem methods to increase interpretation informativity
This paper offers classification of information types that may be contained in the results of solving inverse gravity and magnetometry problems. There is argued that in terms of this classification most of the known algo...

Melts and fluids evolution in the process of crust and mantle formation in Paleo-Proterozoic (2,2—1,75 Ga ago). Stratigraphy and magnetic activity
Stratigraphy of metamorphic Precambrian complexes related to Paleo-Proterozoic is controversial. An additional sign permitting to correlate strata may be their material composition because in the Precambrian composition...
