ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INNOVATIONS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH
Journal Title: International scientific journal Science and Innovation - Year 2024, Vol 3, Issue 12
Abstract
The level of innovation in a country and its growth is generally considered a factor of economic growth for that country. The primary aim of this research is to analyze the relationship between innovation and economic growth based on the Granger causality concept. Specifically, it seeks to determine whether the level of innovation leads to economic growth or if the expansion of innovation is merely a consequence of rapid economic growth. To this end, the research attempts to identify statistical data on economic and innovation indicators from the United States, South Korea, and Singapore, where innovation development has been high, along with a comparative analysis of Uzbekistan's data from 2000 to 2023.
