Editor Note on Oral Antidiabetics Drugs: to Help Billions of Patients

Abstract

Oral anti-diabetic drugs are drugs used to treat diabetes mellitus. They generally work by lowering blood sugar and their use depends on the nature of diabetes, the age and circumstances of the person, and many other factors. There are different types of oral antidiabetics used in type 2 diabetes where insulin secretion is present but insufficient to achieve a physiological effect.
