Abstract
Edmund Kuncewicz (1906–1962) was well-known specialist in otorhinolaryngology, born in Vilnius. His achievements during the second world war and his doctor's activity in Vilnius after this war is mentioned. Edmund Kuncewicz was an initiator of specialistic medical care in otorhinolaryngology in Ostrów Wielkopolski in hospital service and outpatient medical service.
