EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL MATERIALS TO THE THEME “ON THE MARKET” ON THE BASIS OF THE COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH TO LEARNING UKRAINIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract
The article presents educational and methodological materials, built on the basis of a communicative approach to learning, for practical classes in Ukrainian as a foreign language. “Ukrainian as a foreign language” is a practical educational discipline, the purpose of which is to provide basic communicative needs of foreign students in the household and educational-professional spheres. Therefore, the communicative approach is the main factor that determines and forms the methodological orientation of the teacher in the process of language learning. The essence of the communicative method is that language learning is a model of the natural process of communication in this language. Taking into account that the main function of the language is communicative, the communicative approach to studying the Ukrainian language as a foreign one can be called the main, the most important. In order to solve specific communicative tasks in the process of studying Ukrainian as a foreign language, we offer the examples of exercises and tasks for the topic “On the Market”, tested on practical classes in discipline. A system of training exercises aimed at the formation and development of various types of speech activities (listening, speaking, reading and writing) was developed. The proposed types of works reproduce the speech process in real life and allow to realize the most necessary communication needs associated with purchases on the market. Exercises such as “question and answer”, situational tasks, speech situations, dialogues, etc. reproduce the speech process in real life and encourage foreign students to communicate, which ensures the effectiveness of studying Ukrainian as a foreign language.
