Effect of AL-SIC Metal Matrix Composite on Hardness
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 5
Abstract
Metal Matrix composites is well known for its wear resistance, fatigue, fracture toughness, stiffness .In this work SIC is reinforced in Aluminum metal matrix to improve its properties. This is fabricated by powder metallurgy. SEM and mechanical properties are analyzed in this work.
