Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 57
Abstract
The article shows the features of the state of the mucosa of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is shown that the use of narrow band imaging and the magnification helps to detect metaplasia in columnar epithelium of the esophagus, atrophy and intestinal metaplasia of the gastric mucosa, that is, the use of endoscopy with magnification, chromoscopy and narrow band imaging endoscopy significantly improves the quality of examination, reducing the time of the study and the number of performed biopsies.
