Abstract
YA.B. Boyko. Export potential: the essence of the concept and relationship with the economic potential of the country. The article is based on a synthesis of the results of research, discussed categories of the export potential as meaningful impact on economic growth, integration into the international markets. Grounded general concept of relationship terms of export potential of the national economic potential through action set of factors. The use of indicators that can comprehensively characterize export capacity at the country as a whole separate industry and enterprise. The problems of effective implementation of the export potential of the country occur at different stages of development. Of particular relevance they acquired in the countries in terms of transformation of the economy. In these cases, the implementation of its own foreign policy is the most important factor of political and economic self-determination of the country and its entry into the international system on the rights of equal partnership.
