Elliptic functions and integrals
Journal Title: Surveys in Mathematics and its Applications - Year 2008, Vol 3, Issue 0
Abstract
This paper presents the basic ideas and properties of elliptic functions and elliptic integrals as an expository essay. It explores some of their numerous consequences and includes applications to some problems such as the simple pendulum and the Euler rigid body motion.

New result of existence of periodic solution for a Hopfield neural networks with neutral time-varying delays
In this paper, a Hopfield neural network with neutral time-varying delays is investigated by using the continuation theorem of Mawhin's coincidence degree theory and some analysis technique. Without assuming the continuo...
Uniformly continuous functions on non-Hausdorff groupoids
The purpose of this paper is to study the notion of uniform continuity introduced in [M. Buneci, Haar systems and homomorphism on groupoids, Operator algebras and mathematical physics, 35-49, Theta, Bucharest, 2003]. For...
Some Absolutely Continuous Representations of Function Algebras
In this paper we study some absolutely continuous representations of function algebras, which are weak ρ-spectral in the sense of [5] and [6], for a scalar ρ > 0. More precisely, we investigate certain conditions for...
Shock Waves in Gas Dynamics
Shock wave theory was studied in literature by many authors. This article presents a survey with references about various topics related to shock waves: Hyperbolic conservation laws, Well-posedness theory, Compactness th...
