Energy Harvesting Using Rack and Pinion Mechanism

Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Mechanical and Civil Engineering (IOSR-JMCE) - Year 2018, Vol 15, Issue 1

Abstract

The project deals with usage of “Human locomotion” to generate electricity . The whole bio energy is being wasted but with a possible technical implementation this energy can be harnessed ,Which will be of optimum use in a densely populated region .A non -conventional method by simple walking in the staircase. The mechanical setup used is “Rack and pinion mechanism”
