ENHANCEMENT OF THE FLAT PRODUCTS MIX AT THE METALLURGICAL PLANT IN ITALY

Abstract
Process development for production of 4 х 3 125 х 16 000 mm dimensions plate produced of as-cast slabs of 217 х 1 355 х 780 mm dimensions instead of slabs of 150 mm thickness for rolling mill 3 200 at Metinvest Trametal SpA. The developed technology ensures the rolled products final temperature of 826°С, and this allows to implement it for rolled products production by means of hot, normalizing, controlled or TMCP technology, and does not minimize the current grade product mix.
