Ensuring Sustainable Water Use in Ukraine

Abstract
The article discusses the basics of implementation of water use in Ukraine on the principles of sustainable development. The concept of sustainable development as a modern paradigm of the state-building is characterized. The role of water resources for the national economy and their socio-economic peculiarities are defined. The theoretical and practical foundations of realization of the national strategy of sustainable development in water use have been formed.
