Abstract
The efficiency of resource usage in Ukraine is analyzed; the characteristics of types of economic development are presented on the basis of the resource intensity index, proposed ways to increase organizational and economic measures to ensure resource saving at enterprises, and systematized approaches to assess their effectiveness.
