ENTERPRISE STEADY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: THEORETICAL JUSTIFICATION

Abstract
The essence of the concept "sustainability" and the features of the category use in the economic research and practice of business management are revealed. The author's definition of the category "sustainability of an enterprise" is given. The main scientific approaches to the concept of steady economic development are considered and the author's approach to the definition of the term is suggested. The existence of a dialectical relation between the categories of sustainability and development of an enterprise is determined and the expediency of development management from the standpoint of ensuring the sustainability of an enterprise to enhance its adaptability to the current operating conditions is justified.
