EQUITY CAPITAL AS THE BASIS FOR THE ECONOMIC ACTIVITY OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The article the essence of concept “equity capital” and its evolution in economic science is described. The role of equity capital as a financial source of agricultural enterprises economic activity is established. The components of equity capital and peculiarities of their formation in agricultural enterprises are considered. The equity components are structured; in particular, invested capital and accumulated capital are selected. Equity capital of Ukrainian agricultural enterprises is analyzed.
