It was found out that the aesthetic aspect is inherent in all types of human activity and creativity, that is why it must be taken into account in the process of professional training of specialists of different fields of activity, including future architects, in other words the higher school educational process should be aimed at forming aesthetic culture among students, which reveals in their aesthetic attitude to the surrounding world, art, people. The aesthetic culture of the future architects is considered as a component of their professional culture and is characterized by the presence of aesthetic values, the ability to use them in the future professional activities, the ability to recognize, perceive and evaluate the beauty in the environment based on the obtained aesthetic taste, the acquired aesthetic experience. In the structure of the future architects’ aesthetic culture these indicators are highlighted: aesthetic and compositional perception, aesthetic taste and aesthetic experience. It is pointed out that besides the academic disciplines of fine arts, such forms and methods as visiting art museums and exhibitions, involving students into art competitions, conducting art discussions, studying biographies of famous artists, architects and analyzing their works will help to improve the level of the future architects’ aesthetic culture as well as the use of interactive teaching methods (discussions, role games, project competitions, a variety of quizzes etc.), aimed at the formation and development of certain indicators of this phenomenon, in the educational process. The prospect of further scientific research is to determine and substantiate the pedagogical conditions that contribute to the formation of the future architects’ aesthetic culture in the process of their professional training.
