EU support for small and medium enterprises in the context of im-plementation of strategic documents of Warmia and Mazury

Abstract
This paper addresses the issues of support for small and medium-sized enterprises of Warmia-Mazury from European Union structural funds. Trades of the SME sector, which were the main beneficiaries of aid under the Regional Operational Program Warmia and Mazury 2007-2013, were specified. I was also examined whether the support granted under the Program goes to the industries, which in the "Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of Warmia and Mazury to 2020" were defined as strategic industries, affecting the increase of competitiveness of the entire region.
