Experimental Analysis of the Vibration Generated by an Elastic Kinematic Element with Lubricated Mobil Rectilinear Pair Based on the Influence of the Lubricant Pressures Range
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2013, Vol 10, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents the experimental analysis of the vibration generated by an elastic kinematic element with a mobile rectilinear pair, lubricated by oil with average values for lubrication properties and kinematic viscosity. All study is based on the influence of the lubricant pressures field from the rectilinear pair. The pressure range is analysed by using finite element method; as input for performing the FEM analysis are the data obtained by experimental analysis of the elastic kinematic element vibration.

An Analysis of the Dynamic Behavior of Circular Plates from a Damage Detection Perspective
This paper presents a study regarding the dynamics of thin circular plates, embedded on the circumference. A finite element analysis (FEA) as well as analytical investigations is performed, and the results in terms of fr...
Consideration regarding the nonlinear vibration of a mechanical system
The paper studies, from the point of view of the dynamical systems theory, the nonlinear vibrations of a single-degree-of-freedom mechanical system. The differential equation of motion is analyzed using the method of var...
Assessing the Sound Absorption of Micro-Perforated Panels by Using the Transfer Function and the Impedance Tube
Micro-perforated panels (MPP) are made and used for decades, a number of researchers proposing to use MPPs for enclosures, featuring the benefits of using them outside as sound barriers, studying the effect of vibration...
An Assessment Model of Urban Noise Performed Through SIMITR Subsystem
Modelling the sound pressure levels of traffic noise at any location in an urban area requires a series of steps in order to collect, collat and report data, in accordance with the European Community legislation (Directi...
Application for Automated Recognition of Damage Locations
This paper present an application developed in Visual Basic, able to precisely indicate a damage location for known beam characteristics (in terms of geometry and mechanical properties) and the natural frequencies of s...
