Experimental Investigation on Mechanical Properties of AISI 316l SS Weldment by Using GTAW Process
Journal Title: International Journal of Mechanical and Production Engineering Research and Development (IJMPERD ) - Year 2018, Vol 8, Issue 2
Abstract
Welding is considered as one of the most important methods of metal joining process among other joing process. In this study, GTAW and Pulsed GTAW process is are used to weld AISI 316L type of Austenitic steel(3)along with the filler material as ER 316L. Pure Argon is considered as shielding gas(2). For both the process, by using trial and error method, the mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness was were determined. And also mechanical properties of weldments using GTAW and pulsed GTAW were determined along with the identification of maximum strength in the above said two process
Noise Reduction Techniques for FD & ID Fan in Thermal Power Plant using Chamber Based Silencer
Thermal power plants are one of the noisiest processing plants. However, regular exposure to industrial noise can't be avoided which might be the reason for the neurobehavioral change, mental pressure and misery in day b...
Challenges and Transforming Technique in Customer Satisfaction – A Case Study of Project Expectation Management in it Industries
The changing and challenging dynamic business environment has raised the bar of expectations, with rapid changes and new technology. Project governance is an important aspect that needs constant revision in approach and...
Flexural Analysis of Smart Structural Composite Laminates by Using a New Higher Order Theory
The present article involved the enrichment of a higher order shear deformation theory especially for composite laminates embedded with piezoelectric materials under electro-mechanical loading. The main aim of the presen...
FLOW CONTROL WITH AEROSPIKE BEHIND BLUFF BODY
Flow control in high-speed is challenging due to the high-pressure shock and low-pressure recirculation bubble attached around the vehicle. Wave drag, and Base drag are important accouterments of flow around high-speed o...
