Experimental investigations in flows of gas and gas-dispersion media relative to problems of improved energy efficiency of pipeline systems
Journal Title: Технічна механіка, Техническая механика, Technical Mechanics - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
Problems for experimental measuring hydraulic parameters of pipelines with closely-spaced joint welds and those for pneumatic transport of bulk material at an elevated pressure of the carrying gas are examined. Benches for studying and the results obtained for measuring hydraulic parameters to develop full-scale engineering sys-tems are examined. Dependencies of an elevated hydraulic resistance on weld sizes and a relative space between them the bench for studying the effects of closely-spaced joint welds are reported using the bench for studying the effects of closely-spaced joint welds. The results for measuring a hydraulic resistance, a critical speed and specific power consumption for transporting dispersive two-phase gas suspensions in a previously unknown domain of working pressures are obtained using the pneumatic transport bench

Considering dissipative forces for mathematical modeling longitudinal vibrations of liquid launch vehicle body
The effects of fluid filling the propellant tanks on the characteristics of the dominant harmonics of the lon-gitudinal vibrations of the launch vehicle body with a tandem configuration of stages are analyzed using the u...
Mathematical model of particle heat at formation of thermo-exfoliated graphite on heat irradiation
A mathematical model for heating by radiant heat transfer of a single particle of intercalated graphite dur-ing the process of its structural transformation in thermo-exfoliated graphite is developed. A procedure for bui...

Computations of Stressed-Strained State of Compressor Rim Blade Using OPENFOAM Numerical Simulation Platform
The now design of compressor rims requires a computational verification of strength characteristics using the CAE systems such as ANSYS, NASTRAN, etc. Those computations do not abolish field tests, however, they signific...
