FACTORS AND CONSEQUENCES OF THE INSTITUTION OWNERSHIP DEFLECTION IN THE QUASI-MARKET ECONOMY

Abstract
The basic role of the institution of ownership in a market system as well as its pattern of evolutionary change in corporate business is substantiated in the article. The peculiarity of corporate ownership in the post-socialist economy is considered; the factors and consequences of rent-seeking corporate business owners in Ukraine are analysed. It is concluded that a necessary condition for eliminating distortion of the institution of ownership is dismantling the oligarchic system of power.
