FAMILY CHRONICLES AND NOVELS-THE RIVERS AS DIFFERENT TYPES OF PROSE

Abstract

From the overview presented in this article shows that, in itself perspective forms and methods of representation of family history in art (as well as the documentary-historical prose) is a topical and unresolved, both the Russian and the world literature.. Provides an analysis of the main genre characteristics of the family chronicles and the so-called novels-the rivers. The conclusion is that these two genre types of prose have important differences from each other, that is very important for further scientific consideration of the problems and poetics of prose works, created in the XIX- XXI centuries.
