FAMILY IN POSTMODERN HUMAN BEING’S LIFE

Abstract
The author is indicating changes which took place within the interrelation among the family and the individual, from premodernity to postmodernity. The author is demonstrating, that contemporary shape of the family, which through by many researchers is named as the crisis of even a fall of the family, is a result of the long process consisting in the renegotiation of mutual duties and the possibility between the individual and family structure. The contemporary model of the relation between the individual and the family, consisting in weakening the family as the institution along with becoming stronger stayed of the individuals, which realize their purposes and desires mainly apart from her structures. In the author’s opinion the family is still an important institution for the human being. The contemporary family is also an only institution which is defending the individual against negative impacts of postmodernity.<br/><br/>
