Artykuł porusza kwestie kontroli światła i ciepła naturalnego oraz ich przepływów przez fasady budynków. Przedstawione są postulaty ochrony wnętrz budynków przed przegrzewaniem za pomocą technologii pasywnych, co prowadzi do ograniczenia zużycia energii przy jednoczesnym zapewnieniu komfortu dla osób przebywających w budynku.
