Feasibility and features of multimedia technology in foreign language teaching

Abstract

The article provides analysis of research of leading European and American scientists (linguists, psychologists) and main approaches in multimedia use. The author of article proves effectiveness of use of multimedia in teaching foreign languages and their positive impact on target audience as well as learning outcomes. Still the teacher’s role remains significant although balanced as teacher assumes role of a moderator and a liaison.
