Features of circular training as a part of strength training program for dancer

Abstract

says about the results of the experimental program which has been worked out and theoretically substantiated. The program includes two ways of strength training which are strength and stamina development. The program consists of three weeklong micro cycles (units): first week – drawing unit, second week – strength unit, third week – stamina development unit. Circular trainings were carried out according to individual differences of the dancers. The analysis of the literature about features of the work of muscles during the dance moves performance and the anatomy strengthening exercises allowed us to work out the experimental strengthening work methodology for highly skilled dancers during the preliminary training period. Growth rates for all tests exercises proved the effectiveness of the dancers’ stamina development during the preliminary training period.
