Features of development of rural green tourism in Ukraine

Abstract
The subject of the study is to determine the peculiarities of the development of rural green tourism in Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to investigate the features of the development of rural green tourism in Ukraine. Research methods. In this work the dialectical method of scientific knowledge, the method of analysis and synthesis, the comparative method, the method of data generalization are used. Results of work. The article deals with the features of the development of rural green tourism in Ukraine, the stages of development of rural green tourism are given, the requirements for the development of this sphere of tourism business are outlined. Conclusions. The results of the conducted study of the features of the development of rural green tourism (RGT) in Ukraine show that it has passed two stages of its development and is now in the third stage. Stage I – the formation of RGT (the end of the XIX – the middle of XX century.); Stage II – formation of private forms of RGT (60’s – 90’s of XX century); Stage III – the formation of legal forms of RGT (since the early 90’s of XX century till the present time). The development of this sphere of tourism business requires: activation of target information work for the promotion of green tourism; improvement of the infrastructure of regions at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine; proving the value and quality of a tourism product to a European standard; expansion of international contacts.
