FEATURES OF DRAWING AND IMPROVING DIRECT FOREIGN INVESTMENT IN THE MODERNIZATION OF THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article presents the necessity of development of foreign investment in Ukraine. The current state and trends of the mechanism of stimulation of direct foreign investments are considered, based on the analysis of the process of attracting foreign investments into the Ukrainian economy on the basis of statistical data in recent years. The main motivational factors that influence the country's decision to stimulate foreign direct investment are revealed. The elements of the investment policy of the leading countries of Central and Eastern Europe and China, which significantly influenced the attraction of foreign investment resources, were analyzed. The most important factors of solving foreign investment problems in Ukraine are considered, positive aspects for Ukraine are determined. The tools of effective stimulation of foreign investment of the national economy for the purpose of realization of modernization measures are determined and measures are proposed to stimulate the development of investment activity in Ukraine.
