Fissionexcitation functionsinducedby weakly bound nuclei 6He and 7Li
Journal Title: Scholars Journal of Physics, Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue 3
Abstract
Study of fission reactions induced by weakly bound nuclei 6He and 7Li beams on 209Bi and 208Pb targets, leading to the same production of 215At compound nuclei, were investigated. The fission excitation functions for the reactions 7Li + 208Pb and 7Li + 209Bi were investigated to show the effect of targets on the fission cross sections. It was shown that the fission excitation functions for the reactions 6He + 209Bi and 7Li + 208Pb had similar behavior within the experimental error for a broad range of energy. More likely, halo structure of 6He is not reflected on the fission reaction mechanism. Otherwise, a large value of the fusion cross section was observed so far, as it could be expected in the case of weakly bound character of 6He projectile.

Calibration of Pipeline Friction Coefficient Based on Random Optimization
The changed friction resistance coefficient of the pipeline after the oilfield water injection pipe network system is used for a long term cannot reflect the actual conditions of the pipeline accurately. As the main para...
Empirical likelihood confidence intervals on the mean differences after inverse probability weighted imputation
Consider two linear models with missing data, where the covariates are not missing and response variables are missing at random (MAR). The inverse probability weighted imputation is used to impute the missing data of res...
Well behaved Anisotropic charged fluid sphere in General Relativity
We present an anisotropic charged analogue of Heinzman’s [1] solution of the general relativistic field equations in curvature coordinates by using simple form of electric intensity E and pressure anisotropy factor th...
Arriving and Convert Times in Hyper-networks
In hyper-networks, arriving time and the convert distance are used to measure the structure of hyper-graphs. For two vertices u and v, the arriving time is defined as the expected time for it takes a random walk to tra...
Diamond Osculating Planes of Curves on Time Scales
In this paper, we present normal, binormal, and osculating plane of diamond regular curves on time scales. We also study their equations analytically.
