Foreign Policy Analysis: Subject field of research and stages of formation

Abstract
The article surveys the field and the development of foreign policy analysis. It opens with a review of three main periods of foreign policy analysis’ evolution and then goes on to explore the impact of globalization on the field. It is stressed what global processes mean for the making and conduct of foreign policy. In conclusion, we discuss the suggestions for perspectives that can improve foreign policy analysis in the future.
