FORMATION OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE WITH THE USE OF MODERN APPROACHES AND INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract
The article deals with the questions of modern approaches and innovative technologies application in the formation of the foreign language communicative competence of higher educational institutions students. The benefits of information and communication technologies introduction are described. They expand and diversify the program of foreign languages teaching, require updating of teaching methods, reinterpretation of the purpose, tasks and training content, provide access to the variety of authentic materials, serve in favour of the education efficiency and quality, extend the motivation for studies, save time for obtaining knowledge, provide the opportunity to develop own creativity, and contribute to the formation of communication and multicultural competence, self-development of students. Working with technical means of communication such as radio, television, the latest computer, audio, video technologies, Internet electronic resource like e-mail, libraries, manuals, and dictionaries and so on, form the information competence of students, and also require the latest methods of foreign languages teaching from the teacher, which combine communication and educational goals, a high level of preparedness and readiness to use various achievements of innovative technologies in learning process and knowledge control. Among the tasks which are set today before the high school, there is the task of the accumulated educational technologies realization, development and implementation of new pedagogical approaches, development, and improvement of foreign language practical mastering skills in order to obtain and transfer foreign language scientific information by specialty, the ability to solve problems and tasks of scientific activities, using the information technology and foreign language information.
