Formation of productivity and quality of wheat grain wintertime under fertilization when growing on a black pair

Abstract

The article reflects the results of studies on the effectiveness of different dates and forms of mineral fertilizers when growing plants of winter wheat in the Black Sea Steppe of Ukraine. The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of feeding with the definition of the best fertilizers for nonirrigated conditions of the Black Sea Steppe of Ukraine. It has been established that winter wheat during its growing on a black pair in nonirrigated conditions responds well to the improvement of the background of nitrogen nutrition regardless of the type of mineral fertilizer, which manifests itself in a marked increase in grain yield and improvement of its quality. The dispersion analysis allowed to determine maximum impact on winter wheat productivity at 61.8% of the weather conditions during the research years. Feeding ensured the formation of a crop of 27.2%, the interaction of factors was 6.7%. The highest yield increase of 24.2–24.9% and quality indicators at the level of the requirements of class 1–2 provide double recharge in doses of N30 on the frozen ground and at the beginning of the tube. In addition, nitrogen fertilizers provide an increase in productive bulk density in 1.5–1.6 times, the number of grains in the ear of 2327% and the yield of grain from 1 colon on 6.2–13.0%. The variation of the studied parameters of winter wheat yields varied very broadly –from the highest level of constancy of 2.1% in grain weight indicators in grams in 1 liter of volume to the maximum variability of 62.9% –in relation to the increase in grain yield depending on the studied variants of feeding.
